We all desire to feel important, taken seriously, heard and especially, honoured for who we uniquely are. There have been so many times in my life where I’ve felt passed over, worthless or invisible. I believe that no one is above me, nor is anyone below me. I wrote this song because I was getting caught up in what people, who obviously didn’t value me, thought of me. Perhaps I was also trapping myself in my perceptions of what others thought of me. Cruel and endless cycle if you don’t put an end to it yuh damn self. See, you are SOMEBODY. WE determine our worth. No one should ever take you for granted…”cause you never know what knowing me would mean to you.”
